Q1: How do I know if I am running the latest version?
A1: You can do Help > Check for newer version from with Netcam Watcher and it will search for newer versions and let you know if any are available. This check can also be performed automatically using an option on File > Preferences
Q2: How do I upgrade to a newer version?
A2: Simple: go to the download page then download and install the newer version. Your cameras and settings will not be lost. There is no need to uninstall the older version.
Q3: Does it cost to upgrade to a newer version?
A3: At the moment no, all upgrades are free. This system will be changing from v3.1 onwards, so it's best to upgrade now.
Q4: How do I increase the number of cameras?
A4: Send us your current licence code and details of how many cameras you want to add, and we will send you instructions on how to proceed.
Q5: How much does it cost to add more cameras?
A5: It costs the difference between the two licences plus a small service charge. So there is almost no cost penalty if you start with a smaller number of cameras and add more later.
Q6: Can I upgrade from a Home Edition licence to a Professional licence?
A6: Yes. Again, the cost is simply the difference between the two licences so there is no cost penalty if you start with a Home Edition and move on later to a Professional version.
